Ending 2024 with a lot of reflection (and clichés)

Are you tired of clichés about the end of the year?

Wow! Where did the time go?
I can’t believe another year has come and gone!
I blinked, and the year was over!

Time will always do what time does. The question is, how do we make the best use of the time we do have?

If you have a spare hour (😂 😆) during this holiday, here are ten 15 minute tasks to improve your marketing.

A. Website Updates (15 minutes)

1) Check your contact details, business hours, and service descriptions for accuracy.

2) Test links: Make sure all your internal and external links are working.

3) Update existing content to showcase your most current offerings.

B. Social Media Audit (15 minutes)

4) Review your profiles: Update your profile and cover photos, bios, and links.

5) Engage with followers: Check for and respond to pending messages, comments, or questions.

6) Analyze performance: Review your insights. What posts were the most performing, or least performing? Make notes for future posts.

C. Email Marketing Review (15 minutes)

7) Update your email list: Email costs money. Review your list to see who hasn’t opened your emails in the past three months.

8) Send an email to inactive subscribers asking if they still want to stay subscribed.

9) Remove inactive subscribers or tag them as inactive.

10) Check your branding: Make sure your email templates align with your website and social media branding.

Wishing you a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!

See you again in 2025!
